Bacon's Nursery

I thought that the whole nesting thing in pregnancy was something I would never experience...boy was I wrong! Around week 24 I started to obsess over clutter and I made Michael reorganize the guest room/baby room closet about 3 times. I have become a spring cleaning crazy lady and cannot stand the sight of loose items strewn about our apartment.

And because we live in a two bedroom apartment, the baby nursery has to share with the second bedroom. This has required a lot of patience on Michael's part as I have tried to figure out how to organize the room (over and over again) given the limited space we have to work with. So here are a few photos of the finished product. Hopefully we will not be moving anytime soon...unless it's to a 3+ bedroom house! Someday...

Can you tell that Animal Planet is my favorite TV station? Sorry baby McLain, but you will have no choice but to love animals because your Mom will force you to watch Meerkat Manor and Underdog to Wonderdog.

3D Ultrasound Photos!

The baby was pressing against my uterine wall much of the time, so that is why some of the photos look like he/she is squished! Peanut was moving so much (especially sucking on his/her hands) and the ultrasound technician said she has never seen a baby have so many facial expressions. The bottom lip was pouting most of time...so cute!

Oh, and the baby is 2 lbs 9 ounces...which is BIG for 27 weeks (average is 2 lbs). Yay for chubby baby Bacon!
