Easter Fashion Show

We had a great time celebrating Jesus' death and resurrection with our dear friends the Rathmanns at their home in Valdosta, Georgia. It was HOT down there...like 90 degrees! We were invited to a Jewish Seder/Passover meal that the Rathmann's good friends (who are Messianic Jews) were hosting. We've taken part in Seder meals before, but this one was very in depth and traditional. It was awesome! Grace stayed with a babysitter and she cried for 2 hours straight :( So we had to come home a little early. The separation anxiety has apparently begun!

Grace was given several Easter dresses this year, so we had a little fashion show....

Sha Sha!

We just had the most wonderful time with my dear friend Sharon who was visiting from Oxford, England. Grace absolutely adores her Auntie Sha Sha and smiled every time she saw Sharon or heard her lovely Northern Irish accent. Sharon is a master storyteller, so Grace was blessed to listen to many beautiful children's stories. "Going on a Bear Hunt" is her fav...and mine too! Sharon is such good craic (Irish term for fun/enjoyment). We had such a wonderful time catching up, reminiscing about our 3+ years together at seminary, reflecting on God's goodness, praying, bonding over our love for perfume (particularly Flower Bomb) and make-up (particularly lip stains), walking, drinking loads of coffee, eating sour patch kids, playing with and laughing with Grace, watching Grace try to put everything and anything into her mouth (and experiencing me freaking out and overreacting at times), and just enjoying the friendship that God has blessed us with. I was reminded of how much I miss Sharon and my other girlfriends from my time at seminary. I wish we all still lived near each other...now we are spread out from England to Atlanta to Baton Rouge to Boston to Detroit!

cafe tierre (meaning- French press for coffee)

Norn Iron (meaning- Northern Ireland)
